Incident Description:
Bike was locked along with helmet at the Harlem CTA Blue Line station (near Ohare). The bike was locked on the 'train' side of the turn stiles (i.e. after paying for ride) on the most easterly slot of the the most easterly bike lock station. This was in plain site of CTA help station and security cameras. The bike was locked up carefully (frame and both wheels to post) with an ON GUARD DOBERMAN COIL CABLE KEY LOCK 12MM Brand Cable Coil Key Lock (or very similar circa 2007). The helmet was a brand new White/Grey "Giro Foray MIPS" Mens Large Helmet.
The bike was locked up at 7:45 AM on 6/22/17 and was missing on return commute home at 5:45 PM. CTA staff were interviewed and noticed nothing unusual.
