Incident Description:
I locked bike to bike post. However, lock was found there, on ground, still locked to post. No damage done to lock No bike. Possibility of lock didn't secure to/catch bike when I locked it originally?, hence bike not locked at all? But I don't know how, as I would have heard and/or saw lock fall to ground when I originally locked it? I contacted area businesses for security cameras, with little luk. Northside Realty (4753 N Spaulding, phone 7734637040, Saima was person I spoke with) has outside camera with direct vision of the area, but she was unsure how to work the camera/look up footage record at this time.
Bike was previously registered within City of Chicago. But I do not have the seriel #.
