Incident Description:
I bike to work (Roosevelt University) several days a week and always park my bike on the bike racks right out in front of the building on 430 S Michigan Avenue. I lock my bike through both wheels and the frame with a cable combination lock. I have been doing this for a little over a year and have never had or imagined I would have an issue with having it parked there during the daytime and on such a busy public street. I park my bike there from about 9 am to 5 pm and I always check on it during my lunch break (around 1 pm). My bike was still there at 1 pm the day it was stolen, so it had to taken between 1 and 5 pm. The bike and lock were both missing when I came out to get it around 5 pm.
