Incident Description:
Bike was locked on the back porch of an apartment building - on the 2nd floor, not highly visible to the alley. The
neighbors on the 3rd floor had a party last night, so people were passing through the back porch frequently. The bike was last
seen around 7 PM last night 04.29.17. The neighbors confirmed seeing the bike at that time. The bike was missing this
morning 04.30.17 - the wood post that the bike was locked to was broken and the bike was removed during the terrible weather conditions. The U lock should still
be attached to the bike frame. The neighbors are unaware of any suspicious activity, but said one guest did compliment the
bike as they walked up the back porch stairs. The neighbors said they would reach out to their party guests.
It has been brought to my attention that their is a group of teenagers that frequent the neighborhood, flipping bikes.
