The bike was left unlocked in a locked garage which I share with my father. It was placed in the garage on Sunday night, March 29. My father reported seeing the bike the following morning on Monday, March 30. On Monday, my father reports washing his car and leaving the garage door open. He says he may have briefly stepped away to get something from the house. This is the only time we can think of when the bike may have been stolen. At 5:00pm on Monday, I went to get my bike and found that it was missing. The garage did not appear to be broken in to and there was nothing else missing.

Eighter someone stole it by cutting the lock or the building took it. I have no idea how to find it if the building took it. There is many cameras where the bike was locked. I remember a police officer sitting in his cruiser watching me lock the bike. (This made me very self concious) I double checked to make sure the bike was locked well.

Stem mount for Garmin computer. Headlight and computer were not on the bike. Shimano 105 shifters/derailers. FSA crankset. Lots of salt on frame/components from winter riding. In the picture below, the bike has bottle cages - these were not on when it was stolen.

Incident Description: 
My child left his bike in the alley when he went into the yard and forgot about it. He probably left it leaning against the garbage cans. Either somebody took it or the scrap metal dealers thought somebody left it out for scrap metal. I had my phone number and name etched into the underside of the bottom bracket. Can't believe I didn't register it with the city and that I don't have a picture of it- the picture I have I found online and is a rough approximation of the bike that was stolen.
