Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

The bike was locked to a wooden railing in my back courtyard. The wooden railing was cut with a hack saw and the bike and lock were removed together. The courtyard has a gate that locks and the bike is not visible from the alley where the gate is accessed, so this may have been stolen by someone in my building.

I locked the bike up at 8:30am. I came out to get it at 5:00pm and the bike and lock were both missing. This was outside of 214 W Huron st., Chicago, IL 60654.

Bike was locked at clyborne metra stop overnight. In morning both bike and lock were missing

ENTERED LOCKED GARAGE BY FORCE AND TOOK BIKE

Bike was locked to bike rack between CNA building and potbelly's restaurant. I use it to commute from train station to CNA on south wabash. When I came out at 4pm to go to train station for my evening commute home bike was gone. Bungee cord that came with bike is in my possession so it will be missing from rack on back of bike. Additionally the front reflector was never tightened so it moves freely along handle bars

Lock attached to bike with heavy duty metal and plastic fastener. Plastic part of fastener must have been cut. Metal part would still be attached to bike. Lock attached to fastener and bike rack. Lock left at bike rack. Bike was outside wormhole cafe from 8am. Discovered missing by 1130am when I saw 3 new bikes at the rack.

I locked the bike to the sidewalk fence just East of the Irving Park brown line stop at ~9:00am on Wednesday 10/9. I went to pick it up on Thursday 10/10 at 6:00pm. I noticed that there is a security camera outside of the CTA station on the sidewalk and the theft was likely caught on the sidewalk security camera at some point between 9:00am on Wednesday and 6:00pm on Thursday when I went to retrieve it.

Bike stoken probably in the morning, on Octobe 10, 2013. The residence is in a 3-story building with steel fence and two locked gates,fron and back of building. Bike was parked in front of an apartment unit and locked through a metal railing inside the gate. Bike cable lock are missing.

Was locked inside a gate against the fence. When I came back to ride home, the bike along with the lock were missing. This was at about 2800 N Drake in Logan Square around 3:30am. It looks like the bike in the picture only the seat has been changed to a grey one.

Sitting at home. Heard the remote garage door open. Thought it was my wife. I came out 5 minutes later and the bike was gone. Sad face. Apparently, people have been going in the alleys of Roscoe Village with remotes and randomly opening garages with brute force button pressing. There is a rack on the back and a water bottle holder.

Bike was locked up at the metra station for the day, when I came home that night, it was gone, walking home I found the lock, the cable had been cut.

Was in Shedd with a friend. He had u lock I had cable.

Apartment building with locked bicycle area, expensive/good bikes were taken, older bikes were left. Took many bikes after cutting through locks.

My bike was locked up in our locked apartment building courtyard/rear entrance many other bikes were left untouched out there. I believe it was stolen midday because I saw it at eight am as I left for work and it was discovered to be stolen at three pm. It was locked to a balcony pillar with a keyed cable lock. The lock was cut and left at the scene. It was a very nice 80s Nishiki prestige made with kawasura steel.

On Saturday Sept 28 around 11am - Moved the bicycle from one wall to another to gain access to my lawn mower. In the process, moved my SUV halfway out onto my driveway and began doing yard work in front of the house. Since the SUV was parked halfway in the garage and halfway onto the drive way, my garage door was left open, allowing some easy access via alleyway. We get a lot of 'Alley Rats' on the weekends so I am considering it may have been them who had the balls to walk into my garage while I was out front. Filed a police report with Skokie PD. Have no hope since I did not register it.

My bike was locked across the street from the Wellington Brown/Purple Line stop where bike racks are provided. The bike must have been stolen between 10 AM and 7:00 PM.
