The bike was unlocked but was in the front of the garage requiring the perps to go all the way into the garage and the bike was tied up to the wall
Incident Description:
After taking the trash out the automatic garage door was closed but in some instances the door either doesn't close or because we are under low flying planes sometimes the door mysteriously opens. Since the garage door was open most of the night the thieves attempted to steal another bike which was locked to a shelf and a large object. The bike that was stolen was tucked toward the front of the garage (opposite the large door) and was obscured with bungie cords and other items although it was not fomally locked to the wall as is the normal case.
