When neighbor was leaving for work at 5:50am, they noticed the back door to the building common stairwell had the glass shattered and notified all the residents in the building via email. Once the email was recevied at 6:30am, the location on the 4th floor where the bike was stored was checked and found to be missing along with neighbor's bike.
