Incident Description:
Locked the bike to a bike rack just steps from the front door to my office building in the loop. Locked the bike around 8:55 with a u-lock through the rear wheel and frame, with a cable from the front wheel also locked to the u-lock. Bike was not there when I left after 5:00. There was no debris or other physical evidence that the lock was broken. All traces of the bike, lock, and cable were gone. The fact that this happened on a busy street, there was no mess, and that I recognized the other bikes I parked around in the morning makes me paranoid that I did not have the lock fully engaged when I walked away in the morning.
