Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

in Bucktown. Bike was taken from secure and locked stairwell bike area with a few other bikes present-- I've been parking here for two years with no incident or theft of the other bikes present. Thieves gained entrance to a secure building (no sign of force). only taking my bike most likely in the middle of the night. took the lock with them. the bike didn't have its battery on it at the time of the theft. Please help!

I left my bike locked up overnight outside. When I went outside this morning. I noticed that my bike was gone and the lock had been cut.

Bike locked through tire infront of Gym in Boystown Thursday evening. Saw it still locked when checked second day Friday evening. Went to retrieve this morning and bike with lock was gone.

Three middle school aged boys grabbed by bike off of the porch and rode away on it. They left another stolen bike behind.

I was storing my two bikes - one older one newer - beneath the staircase of my building, inside two locked gates, but visible from the alley. I do not have good alternative spaces in which to store my bicycles - living in third floor, and laundry room is down further stairs with heavy doors, and I use the newer bike daily. Locked yesterday evening, came down this morning, both bikes are gone. Checked other ovations around building in case someone moved them for me from building management - nothing.

Bike was locked on the corner of Montrose and Bell Ave. between 7:00pm and was discovered missing at 10:30pm. Bike and lock are currently missing.

Bike stolen from gated/grilled porch.

Bikes have been in the back private porch area, someone walked around the building and up the stairs and walked it down and through the private yard

Bike was locked directly next to the Divvy station on Wells avenue, 200yrds north of North avenue.

Was at a friends on Armitage, locked the bike up out front, within 2 hours the lock was cut and the bike was stolen

Locked bike to public bike rack with combination cable lock at 10am. Returned from school to home at 7pm and found lock was cut and left at the scene, and bike was gone. Another combination cable lock was also cut and left at the scene

Bike was left in bike room 5:30 on 9/14. Went to use again and was missing 9/19. Gave info to building management (Ksquare 1749 N wells.). They are checking cameras for more info.

Bike was locked to a wooden garden structure

Bike was locked up overnight underneath rear porch stairs. Cable lock was Ulocked to two bikes, only the nicer looking one was stolen. Cable lock was left defeated on ground, ulock was taken.

I didn't see the bike get stolen. I rode it home from an appointment at around 7pm and when I woke it the morning it was gone.

My neighbor left my garage door open and the bike was stolen from inside where it was unlocked. There was another bike there that wasn’t stolen, so this person likely took this bike for its fat tires and value.
