Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

Moved into the neighborhood on April 29. The bike was temporarily being stored in a three car garage. The parking spot associated with my unit is currently being used to store furniture, not my car. It was locked to a wooden structure within the garage. The specific date and time of the incident is unknown. I only realized it was stolen when I went to throw the garbage out on the evening of Wednesday, May 10. The furniture in which the bike was attached to was broken to pieces. The lock was taken in addition to the bike. There appeared to be no forced entry into the garage, so I assume the garage was wither left open by another tenant or the perpetrator used a universal garage door opener.

Bike was left outside of an office building, just down the street from Headquarters bar. I was unfortunately in a hurry and forgot to lock up my bike. I realized this about an hour after arriving and walked outside to find it gone. I have surveillance of the theft taking place.

Bike was locked in front of Piper's Alley for 20-30 min while owner was inside Chipotle. Bike and lock both missing upon return.

Burglers entered into our landlords garage and stole tools and multiple bikes.

Lock was intact on pole. Cable was gone.

Last seen at around 6:30 pm, in the enclosed parking lot of apartment building. Had flat front tire. when asked landlord had not moved it- and did not mention having seen it when she was there in the morning, however I first knew it was gone at noon the following day.

Bike stolen from garage in Lakeview. Bike is gray Specialized with a black back rack.

Locked bike to the bike rack next to Whole food on Halsted street. Went to store @3.00pm. 20 minutes after I came back, bike was missing. Was locked with Kryptonite U-lock and cable to the bike rack. There was another bike locked to the same rack - it was there when I get back. Bike is 2015 BMC GF02 105 disc, size XL/61, bright green. White bar tape, upgraded hydro brakes (785/685) with missing shifter plates (both - I still have em) and stretched Hood covers secured with electric tape. Shimano double-sided pedals (SPD + flat). No lock or cable found.

Left locked bike in front of topshop. Ran errands for two hours. Bike went missing.

Bike was locked up in front of the restaurant where I work. Stolen during daylight hours.

Bike was unlocked on first floor porch, there was a bucket used to get over the 8 foot fence, security camera was removed or destroyed, multiple bikes were stolen and some bikes were left behind

Bike was taken out of our locked and secured garage. No camera or description of thief. No other items were taken other than the one road bike.

Used bucket to climb eigth foot fence from the alley and went up comon stairs to steal bike that was located on 2nd floor porch/balcony. Multiple bikes were stolen from porchs in the same building overnight.

Left bike locked on Milwaukee, in Wicker Park. Exact location was 1455 N Milwaukee, directly in front of a fertility clinic. Locked the bike using a cable lock, along with a second bike using a U-lock. Went to dinner, came back 30-45 minutes later. U-locked bike was untouched, cable locked bike was gone, along with the lock.

Was stolen outside of Franks bar

The bike was left in a storage room under the porch in the back of the house that I live in. This door is supposed to be locked 100% of the time but I think that it might not have been locked when the bike was stolen.

The bicycle was U-Locked (to itself) and secure inside the common area of my building. Unfortunately, a neighbor did not securely lock the door and someone came in and took the bike.
