Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

Locked my bike up on the official bike wrack outside the building and when I came out 3 hours later it was gone :(.

Side garage door was broken into. Bike stolen sometime between last night and this morning.

Item was stolen from a locked storage unit. Perpetrators broke storage door. Removed wheels and replaced them with new tubes. Attached photo is of bike of the same model, not the actual stolen bike.

Bock was locked in front of Lincoln Park Conservatory. Went inside to see flower show and took short walk through Zoo - bike was gone upon my return. Someone clearly had the area staked out because there were tons of people around during this time. Other bikes arrived after mine and were locked with u locks so this was a quick in and out steal. Cable was cut.

The bike was in our garage for sure on Sat, Feb 11. We think it was there last night (Mon, Feb. 13). We noticed it was gone today (Tues, Feb. 14).

The bike was mounted in a garage on Hoyne and Addison. The building is shared by three different tenants. The garage door failed to close all the way down at times because of the cold. Bike must've been stolen some time when the garage door failed to close all the way down. Anytime between Jan 11(last seen) - Feb. 13 (today). I haven't used the bike in a while, so I didn't realize it was gone.

Locked up at bike rack at Marianos Ravenswood. Got groceries then gone when came out.

Exact timing unknown; lock was cut sometime between 8:20 AM - 4:30 PM in broad daylight. Cut was completely clean. Kryptonite Evolution Series 4 LS U-Lock through front tire and frame to rack with cable looped through rear.

Must've cut the lock right off the rack. Inside a parking garage. So infuriating.

Bike was locked outside of matchbox. Gone the next morning when I came back.

Went into an apartment building, came out a few hours later and the bike was gone.

My child accidentally opened the garage door without me knowing and when i noticed the door was open the bike was gone

Bike has always been on top rack in back stairwell. Door is usually locked to get into back stairwell. Discovered missing this evening.

Bike was locked in the basement of my apartment building to itself for a couple of weeks before I checked for it. When I went to ride it last night it was gone.

Had left my garage open where bike was

The bike was placed with three other bikes in the gangway of our garden apartment. It is gated (10 foot iron gates) from both sides. Gate were locked. Motion activated lights near our front door with in the gangway. Someone had to have had help getting over the gate, grabbing the bike and sending it over the gate, then getting back again. We honesty never though someone could get past the gate, and that we most certainly would hear if anyone ever tried. Should have locked our bikes to each other. This happened inside our gated property at just off Logan Blvd. on Troy St. in Logan Square.

Workers doing repair work in my home. Bike was covered with a plastic tarp, along with other bikes. Notice bike was missing the next day, when attempting to ride. All other bikes were presented. Asked workers of course denial. Have a police report however, I didn't have the serial number of the bike, when calling to report. ( Very upset).

During an event at our collective space (the Eco Collective, in Pilsen), 3 men in black hoodies paid to get in & were weird and shifty all night. They slipped to the back when the event ended, opened up our dividing doors to the rest of the garage, and stole this ( and 3 other bikes) through our back door.
