Bike was on my locked deck and locked to the metal railing with a new U-Lock. Bike was locked beneath the saddle but above the frame's horizontal cross bar. U-Lock was found intact and still locked to the railing. The only way this could have happened is if they used tools to remove the saddle (the bike doesn't have any quick release parts) and stole the bike that way.

I missed my usual bus in the morning by Higgins and Newcastle going West to Harlem Blue line so I took my Raleigh Hybrid bike the Morning of October 26, 2015. After work, I was picked up by my friends from downtown where i work. I forgot about my bike. Same thing happened on Tuesday. Wednesday Morning October 28, 2015 around 7:15am, I was going to pass by it on my way to work to move it so people don't think that I just leave my bike there to bike it going home after work and it was gone. I asked the CTA guy and he said that somebody probably stole it because it because the rack was close to the doors going out of the station.

Today, my bike was stolen from work. I am working with the security staff to get video of the area where it was locked up at, but I am posting this in the hopes that everyone will share it far and wide. The bike was stolen from the corner of Archer and Lawndale from World's Finest Chocolate between 7am - 3:30pm. At the time of theft, it had a black storage basket attached to the front. Also stolen was a black/dark gray U Lock. It's not a common Chicago street bike. It's made for mostly leisure rides on wider paths because of the wider handlebars. Brand new, only ridden a couple of times.
