Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

Garage was left open and bike was stolen out of it between 12am and 7am

I arrived home around 6:45 PM on September 27th. I had to be at a concert by 7:00 PM and was running late, so I left my bike unlocked where I typically do below our coach house porch. After running inside to change and grab some food I ordered an Uber to the concert and left my house around 7:10. My bike was still there when I left the house, but I did not return until the next morning (Sept. 28th) around 11:30. When I came home in the morning it was gone.

Someone appears to have broken into our building basement, most likely from the front door, and stole the bike through by exiting through the back door (back and front doors to basement where open when I returned home at 6:15pm).

My son who has special needs borrowed the bike without asking and when it started raining, locked the bike to a wooden stump- not understanding that the "locked" bike could be easily lifted from the stump and the lock removed later. When he went back for the bike two days later, the bike was not there. This occurred in front of the AT&T building on Bryn Mawr at the corner of Wolcott in the Bowmanville neighborhood. This bike has sentimental value. Thank you.

I locked my bike last night to the street sign, walked by it this morning at 10am and it was still there. Came to get it at 1pm and it was gone.

8p noticed bike was gone from the rack it was locked to. Bike was locked up on Wrightwood in Lincoln park

9/23/22 10PM - 9/24/22 12:00PM - Garage door was overridden somehow and bike was stolen from inside. 2926 N Sawyer Avenue

Bike was locked to a rack in a gated courtyard just outside my building. This was the first time I left it overnight in this courtyard. The next morning it was gone. Rack was neither close to nor clearly visible from the street.

Bike stolen from 3rd floor balcony. Balcony faces alley way. Bike was partially covered from view by table. Closest alley entrance points @1114 Roscoe and 1115 Newport.

Locked my bike outside for a few days, and found it missing.

I am not sure of the specific time and date of the incident but the last time I saw it was last week. On Sunday the 18th was the date that I actually realized it was stolen.

Bike was locked to another bike inside a residential parking garage of 1609 W WARREN BLVD CHICAGO IL 60612. Lock was cut and both bikes stolen. Garage only accessible with code or key fob.

Lock was cut, but not left a scene

I went to the garage area of my building which has a locked bike storage area that only residents can get into with their key fab. I don’t lock my bike with the bike lock there because the cage is locked. I went down at 4 pm to get my bike and it was missing.

I work night shift at Lurie children's hospital and locked my bike up outside the entrance on E. Chicago Ave. as have for every other night shift and when i was leaving work this morning around 7:45am there was no bike to be found.
