Left bike outside apartment and left for the bar. When we returned it was gone with the cut U-lock left on the ground. Looked to be cut with bolt cutters.

Locked to bike rack. Everything was cut and bike was gone. Happened at Rehm Pool in Oak Park, IL.

My bike and my girlfriend's bike were stolen from our apartment building's locked bike room between July 6th and July 13th, 2015. Bikes were locked to a bike rack using a cable lock. Bikes were locked together, in addition to being locked to bike rack, so it appears they were stolen at the same time.

Ny dad came home from work and asked where my bike was. I had rode it last night, so last I saw it was the night before, but it was noticed this morning.

I woke up and went about my day. When I went to use my bike, I found it missing and the wrought iron fence it was attached to had been cut.

Bike was locked and parked at the corner of Lake Shore Drive & Monroe. I went to the the Maggie Daley Park w/family & walked around Taste. When I returned my bike was gone but my Husband's bike & son's lil trailer were left untouched. Cable lock was left behind cut. Someone had to have seen there was a lot of traffic. I was gone for approx 2 3/4 hours

Between Jul 12 and Jul 13 overnight someone went to the 2nd floor porch where the bike was locked to the railing and broke off a piece of the railing compromising the lock and the bike.

I believe the theft took place in the early morning hours with professional tools to get through the kryptonite u-lock. The cut on the lock was clean which tells me these were professionals. From what I understand, it takes up to 15 minutes to get through a U-lock and it is a very loud procedure and a ton of sparks are produced.

My bike was locked through the frame and front wheel to the fence in front of my apartment at the intersection of Wolcott Ave & Thomas. I went to bed around 11:00 pm and forgot to bring it in. This morning (7/13) the bike was gone and my combination cable lock was cut.

I parked my bike at 800 S wells, Chicago on the street on the evening 6:00 pm of July 9th 2015. The bike and the front wheel were locked with a old U-lock to he bike rack on the street. I have been parking at this place for a couple of months now. When I went to pick it up from the spot on July 10th at 7:45, the bike was missing.

Left my bike unlocked on my second floor balcony porch of a three-story condominium complex. From the back alley three-story wooden staircase, someone jumped over the wooden railing to gain access to my locked back porch and grabbed the bike and walked down two flights of stairs. I found the baseball cap that was attached to the bike frame further down the alley; I'm assuming they rode down the alley heading northbound after disposing of any unique identifiers. It was broad daylight outside and I was in my apartment when the bike was stolen.

I locked up the bike at the bike rack in the northwest corner of the Lincoln Park parking lot next to the Benjamin Franklin Monument. I spent about one hour at the farmer's market in the park and returned to the bike rack at 1:15 p.m. to lock up a friend's bike. My bicycle was still there at that time, and I noticed a man sitting on the cement berm near the bike rack, smoking. (I suspect now that he was waiting to see if anyone would come to claim the bike, and when we came and left, he knew it was safe to cut the lock--obviously, I didn't think of this at the time). My wife, friend, and I headed over to grab a drink at the Hotel Lincoln. When I returned to the rack around 3:15, my bike was gone, lock cut and left, though my wife and our friend's bike (which were both secured with a U-lock) were left untouched. Anyone reading this, I would suggest not using that bike ramp. In retrospect, I realize how sheltered it is from notice and how easy it is to steal a bike locked up there (a lesson underscored by the fact that mine was stolen within a two hour period in the middle of a Saturday with a number of random people using the park). Also, use U-locks as I should have!!!

This bike was one of 2 kids bikes parked on my front porch as of 4pm, and at 6pm, we discovered they were gone.

I was at dinner at a sushi place across the street form where the bike was locked. I came out to find my helmet, which was threaded through the lock, and my cut lock sitting in front of where I locked my bike. The bike was gone. A note was left saying someone took the bike.
