Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

It was parked inside my residential building, the front door was not broken. The bike was not locked.

Bike was in my basement unlocked.

A young man knocked me off my bike while on the lake shore path (on the bridge, south of Navy Pier) and took my bike, and rode off. Police report was filed. Strong armed robbery.

Locked bike up on a bike rack I front of an Aldo in front of the division blue line entrance on the corner of divsion and Milwaukee. I left for a few hours to meet a friend. When I returned it was gone with a different bike locked on the same bike rack.

Bike was locked with a combination cable lock to a bike rack, located by the south entrance to Millennium Park, just off Monroe Street, near the Lurie Garden. I locked the bike around 6pm. I was gone when I returned to the location around 9pm.

I locked my back to the rack through both the frame and the wheel at about 8:45 AM and came down from my office at about 3 PM to find the bike missing. Employees at the make-up shop on the corner of State and Madison told me that the manager (who had left by the time I arrived) saw an African American male pulling on the lock, and she went to the door and he went away. He then returned and took the bike and headed north on State St. She called the police and they came and took a description, and there are cameras that face the bike rack. When I filed the police report over the phone they told me that they cannot connect my report to the police that arrived on the scene.

The bike was parked in the yard in the morning at 9am but disappeared around 11am when the owner went out to get it.

I walked outside and my bike wasn't where I had locked it.

Iron pole was severed. Inside a courtyard with an iron pole fence around it. No Picture since I had it only for one and a half months.

I locked my bike up and went into work at 10:30 am. When I came out of work at 6:30 PM my bike was gone.

So me and my other friends put our bikes leaning by the walls of Clinton Elementary school and we were chilling right infront of the bike. So some people were playing soccer and there were other watching. They asked me to play so i joined and then after like 5 mins when i looked at all the bikes my bike was missing, We looked everywhere ..some people were strongly suspected but they refused.

Bike was stolen from the common area of my apartment - other bikes stored in same area are still there. Had to have been stolen by someone with access to the building or someone buzzed in by a neighbor.

My bike was locked under the Rogers park Metra stop. On the south side of Lunt. I park here every day and I remove the front wheel and lock it through the frame along with the back wheel. When are we going to get some police presence here. This is the second bike I've had stolen from here. This was a special eighties style bike and I'm so sad that it's gone.

Lock was cut into three pieces while I was at work. I have a witness, a door guy from across the street (Shambles). He has no good details. I still have the pieces of the lock.

The bike has always been kept in our enclosed back porch. It has good locks and a deadbolt. We live in a two flat and only us and the other tenants have access. We left for a five day trip and returned to find it missing. Our other bikes were note stolen.

Bike was locked to metal fence in backyard. Around 12:00PM on Saturday, I noticed that it was gone. The U-Lock that had been attached to it was still locked, making me think that they may have lifted the fencepole to get it.

I parked my bike in front of 645 N Michigan Ave and it was gone when I went to ride it home.
