4. Your theft report, including your bike's photo, last known location, and date of theft, are posted on our site. Your report also goes into our searchable statistics builder and is shown on our report map. And, if you're lucky, someone might see your bike and contact you directly and return your bike.

I received a call from our alarm company on New Years Day that our rear door had been opened at work. This door latches automatically and serves as the rear exit to my workplace. The bike was inside the parking garage of a condo building, which requires a wireless remote or key to access. The locking cable was hardened steel, but it was clearly cut with a bolt cutter. A blue Giro helmet was also stolen, with the thief leaving behind their own red adult size helmet.

The bike was locked to a city sign pole at the head tube using a U-Lock. I was in the adjacent building for 1hour. When I left the building the bike was gone only leaving the cut lock on the sidewalk . The lock was cut very clean at two places, at the top of the U and at one end towards the flat end. It had distinctive green valve caps and wear on the label just below the seat. There's also a slice on the right front side from when I was cutting an old zip-tie used to secure a headlight. The front wiring is also a little wonky. The tires are Continental Grand Prix 4 Season black. Pedals are fairly worn silver with ridges. The bottom bracket was recently replaced, and there's plenty of lube. Has Shimano disc brakes which were recently replaced. Back of the bike has more wear than the front. There was a small u-lock to secure the rear tire to the frame which is MIA.
